House-proud couple would make Aggie proud - September 5th
House-proud couple Roy and Sue Prince don't need to be cajoled into cleaning up their act by TV's dirt-free double act Aggie MacKenzie and Kim Woodburn. The husband and wife from Rugeley in Staffordshire actually enjoy maintaining a clean and tidy home.
So much so, they have recently received praise from Peveril Homes for the impeccable condition of their home in Gresham Road Cannock….which was accepted by the housebuilder as part exchange against a brand new home at its Eaton Park development.
By way of thanks, Peveril Homes has given Roy and Sue a cheque for £500 for them to spend on whatever they wish. Explains Angela Thomas, Sales and Marketing Manager from Peveril Homes: "The £500 'thank you cheque' is an incentive we offer all our part exchange buyers. Once we agree a part exchange, it is part of our job to market that property for sale.
"It's a particularly tough market at the moment and by keeping a property well maintained inside and out certainly gives it the edge when it comes to attracting potential buyers. Roy and Sue's home was immaculate which certainly helped to sell it in extra quick time!"
Says Roy Prince: "The fact that Peveril Homes were so pleased with the standard of our old home is a great compliment It had been our family home for many years and we had taken great pride in its upkeep. We hope the new owners have as many happy years in it as we did."
Roy, who spent a number of years in the building trade before becoming an Independent Financial Adviser, goes on to say how impressed he is with the build quality and finish of his brand new home at Eaton Park.
"We have a number of friends who have moved into a brand new property, they majority of who have had terrible problems with the snagging. Peveril Homes' high standards of craftsmanship were immediately evident and helped us to make an informed decision to move here."
The Princes' moved into their brand new four-bedroom detached home at Peveril Homes' Eaton Park development in May this year after scouring the internet for new homes in their area.
"After looking at Peveril Homes' website, we visited the development, fell in love with the location and the house, made a reservation and with the help of part exchange, moved within 6 weeks....it couldn't of been simpler!" says Roy Prince.
Peveril Homes' Moveplus part-exchange scheme is perfect for those who have a house to sell as it removes the hassle of finding a buyer. All you need to do is choose your new Peveril home from the range of designs and styles available.
Peveril Homes will then arrange for two independent valuations of your current property and make you an offer. Once accepted, you can then reserve your brand new home and subject to surveys on your current property - Peveril will aim to exchange contracts within 28 days leaving you to concentrate on turning your new Peveril house into your dream home.
Along with part exchange Peveril Homes has also introduced an innovative new scheme at its Eaton Park development in Rugeley, Staffordshire called 'HomeBuy', that is designed to help bridge the gap between house prices and salaries.
The benefits of the scheme are:
- No risk, you pay only 60% of the value of your property
- Funding for 100% of the property value
- Interest-free for the first five years
- Ideal for first time buyers
- The property is 100% yours (this is not shared equity)
Concludes Angela Thomas: "Whatever your circumstances, come and talk to us – you never know what kind of assistance we might be able to provide. You can do that right now by calling our sales consultant at Eaton Park, and who knows, you could soon be moving into your new Peveril home!"
